Over mij
Mijn naam is Manon Kombrink. Ik ben 23 jaar en verpleegkundige. Ik woon in Hasselt in Overijssel, Nederland.
Op dit moment woon ik na mijn studie in Harderwijk, gezellig weer even bij mijn ouders en broertje.
Ik werk bij Zorgwerk in Zwolle als verpleegkundige.
Hobby's: Reizen (ofcourse..), film kijken, bakken, haken, skiën en fotografie.

My Hobbies are: traveling (of course..), watch movies, backing, crochet, skiing and photography.
Over mijn reis
In Augustus verlaat ik mijn huis en vertrek ik voor 3 maanden naar Zambia. Daar ga ik de cursus AMT bij Overland Missions volgen. AMT staat voor (Advanced Mission Training) Dit houdt in dat ik ga leren voor missionaris. Mijn doel: Verpleegkundige worden in Afrika en Gods liefde te delen met anderen.
Overland Missions is een organisatie die het woord van God verspreid in onbereikbare gebieden. Hun motto: Any road... any load... any time! Elke weg... elke lading, elke tijd. Daarmee zeggen ze al, geen weg is onbegaanbaar voor ons om de dorpen te bereiken. Als de dorpen dan zijn bereikt, blijven ze daar een tijd om de liefde van God te delen en dan trekken ze weer door naar het volgende dorp. Een organisatie met een passie voor God en mensen.
In de training die ik ga volgen krijg ik les in:
Expedities en missies, leiderschap, missie ethiek, missionaris theologie, prediken en cultuur.
Maar ook: EHBO in de wildernis, koken in de bush, 4x4 autorijden, survival, GPS navigatie, voertuig techniek en we krijgen nog workshops en les van meerdere gastsprekers.
Ik moet zeggen... Ik heb er echt ongelofelijk veel zin in! Het is een grote uitdaging, maar een uitdaging waarin ik zoveel ga leren, ontvangen, uitstappen en ga delen in God's liefde.

In August I’ll leave my house and I’ll stay away for 3 months in Zambia. There I’m going to follow the AMT course at Overland Missions. AMT stands for (Advanced Mission Training). This means that I’m going to learn to be a missionary. My goal: To become a nurse in Africa and share Gods love with others.
Overland Missions is an organization with the purpose to spread the word of God in almost unreachable areas of the country. Their motto is: Any road… any load… any time! What they say is: no road is too difficult for us to reach the villages. When they’ve reached the villages, they stay there for a while and share the love of God and then go to the next village. An organization with a passion for God.
In the training that I am going to follow, I will learn in:
Expeditions and missions, Leadership, Ministry ethic, Missionary theology, preaching and Cross cultural communication.
And also: Wilderness first responder, 4x4 driving and recovery, bush cooking, come back alive survival training, GPS navigation, vehicle mechanics, we also get workshops and some guest ministers.
I have to say… I can’t wait to get there! I’m so excited. It is a big challenge, but a challenge where I will, learn a lot, receive, get out of my “comfort zone” and will share in the love of God.
